Hi, my name is Steven Rogers.

I’m 28 years old and currently studying Marine Biology at the University of Aberdeen. I love Science, but especially Marine Biology (which would have made for a very strange Degree choice if I didn’t) and all of the weird and wonderful creatures that dwell in our oceans.

My other hobbies include traveling, ancient history, football, philosophy, reading, and I have a passion for coffee and cheesecake.

The idea behind the website is to share with the wider world the fabulous diversity that the oceans hold with a specific interest into the lesser known creatures that live in the deep sea, and a more than likely favouritism towards Cephalopods! My hope is this website will bring entertainment and awareness to how vast and important marine life is, along with helping myself with my studies.

If you wish to get in contact with me, please feel free to email me: steven@marinebiologyblog.com

Thank you.
